Meeting. Point. MuK. - Music and Congress Centre Lübeck

The Lübeck Music and Congress Centre (MuK) is a popular meeting place in the Hanseatic city, the largest event centre in Schleswig-Holstein and a beacon in the Hamburg Metropolitan Region. Designed by the internationally renowned architect Meinhard von Gerkan, it combines congress centre, concert hall and city and exhibition hall. Lovers of music, art and theatre as well as experts from science, business and research meet at more than 300 events every year. With a total area of 4,000m² it has 15 event rooms for up to 3,500 people. Located right on the Trave river directly at the old town, the MUK has developed into an internationally renowned event venue.

The MuK is a multifunctional event centre, it impresses with its versatility and offers the right space for conferences and congresses for 10 – 2,000 people. The light-flooded rotunda with an area of 1,650 square metres offers a magnificent view at the historic old town of Luebeck and impresses with its modern architectural language - an ideal setting for exhibitions, trade fairs and congresses. The concert hall - the elegant heart of the MuK - is the ideal venue for congresses and concerts.

The MUK has made a name for itself as a concert hall beyond national borders. International stars and enthusiastic visitors alike are delighted with the world-class acoustics praised by connoisseurs. The MUK is the home of the Philharmonic Orchestra of the Hanseatic City of Lübeck and the NDR Elbphilharmonie Orchestra. In addition, the Music and Congress Centre is the main venue of the Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival, one of the most renowned international music festivals during the summer months.

Sustainability and environmental protection play a comprehensive role in the philosophy of the Music and Congress Centre Lübeck. The event venue is known far beyond national borders for its commitment to sustainability. Corporate Social Responsibility with its economic, ecological and social components are the foundation of the MuK's mission statement.
