By car
From the north: A7 from Flensburg, A1 from Puttgarden
From the East: A20 from Rostock, A24 from Berlin and in Hamburg change to A1
From the south: A7 from Hannover and from Hamburg change to A1

By train
Start your conference without traffic jams, red lights and stress.Travel by ICE train from the Bavarian capital Munich or the metropolis Berlin to Lübeck without changing trains! The station is only 700 meters away from Holsten Gate.

By plane
Lübeck Airport   From June 2020, Lübeck Airport will connect the Hamburg metropolitan region with the cities of Munich and Stuttgart. Lübeck Air flies to Munich and back twice, to Stuttgart once a day except Saturday. Click here to book your flight.

Bus number 6 takes you directly from the airport to the central bus station in the city centre or from the central bus station to the airport every 30 minutes (journey time approx. 30 min.). By train from the Lübeck Airport to Lübeck main train station or from the main train station to the airport every hour (journey time approx. 8 min.). To continue to Travemünde, take bus line 30 or 40 at the central bus station or change there to the train to Travemünde.


From Hamburger Airport you can reach Lübeck by public transport (S-Bahn S1 and the regional train). The S-Bahn line S1 takes you from the airport to Hamburg main station every 10 minutes and takes only 25 minutes each way. The Hamburg Airport S-Bahn station is located directly in front of the terminals and is easily and quickly accessible via elevators, escalators and fixed staircases.

By rental car
The Sixt Station in the district Sankt Lorenz-North has the suitable rental car for your needs. The immediate proximity to the A1 motorway makes it easy to drive in the direction of Travemünde or Hamburg.
